Kimball Junction rocked by driver’s bouldering blunder
PARK CITY, Utah — A driver created quite a boulder dash in a parking lot at Kimball Junction on the evening of Tuesday, July 9.
Eye witness accounts reported that a black truck drove over landscaping rocks, dragging them across the lot and leaving a large boulder scattered on the pavement.
The driver continued to drive over other medians, and ultimately left the scene, leaving the boulder in a hazardous position for other drivers. A Utah Highway Patrol officer arrived on the scene and, with the help of a bystander who provided chains, managed to move the boulder to a safe location.
The moral of the story: Keep your driving smooth, or you might find yourself between a rock and a hard place.
