Running with Ed closes in on fundraising goal with $100k left to go

PARK CITY, Utah – The Park City Education Foundation (PCEF) is in the home stretch of the 2024 fundraising goal for their marquee event, Running with Ed, which takes place this Saturday, May 18.

As of Thursday morning, May 16, they have raised $228,000, with $100,000 left to go. PCEF set the bar at $325,000 this year to raise money for Park City teachers, students, and schools.

The relay race fundraiser for the Park City Education Foundation consists of eight legs, starting and finishing at the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse. The eight legs take runners to six different PCSD schools and up the famous Utah Olympic Park stairs. Each leg ranges in distance from 1.2 miles to 6.2 miles, making it great for all ages and abilities; team members can run, walk, or skip their way through Park City to finish with a rocking Finish Line celebration at the Fieldhouse.

It’s been voted Park City’s Favorite Fundraiser for nine years running.
