Park City Mountain Resort surpasses 400 inches of snowfall this winter

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Mountain Resort announced on Instagram yesterday that it surpassed 400 inches of snow this winter. The resort is one of many ski areas in the Salt Lake City area that has received above-average snowfall this season.

Park City Mountain Resort reported that as of yesterday morning, it had received 405 inches of snow throughout the season. On average, the resort typically sees 355 inches of snow per season. According to OpenSnow, Alta has racked in 579 inches, Snowbird 524 inches, Brighton 522 inches, Solitude 503 inches, and Deer Valley 369 inches of snow this season.

Conditions are set to be “springy” in Park City over the next few days, with temperatures predicted to reach 54 degrees today. Following the spring weather, temperatures are set to drop over 20 degrees over the weekend, with perhaps more snow to come.
