New cocktail lounge and venue, Premiere, opens in Park City
Premiere opened on April 29 in the former OP Rockwell space on Main Street
PARK CITY, Utah — A new cocktail lounge and venue is now open in downtown Park City. The 5,000-square-foot space, called Premiere, will offer a selection of cocktails and small plates-style cuisine. The venue is also set to host live music and other events.
“Premiere isn’t just a venue; it’s a testament to the vibrancy of Park City’s cultural scene, where every night promises a new adventure and every cocktail tells a story,” said Anthony Hebert, Premiere manager.
The new bar’s decorations evoke a historic mountain setting in Utah. Reclaimed wood covers most of the interior walls, and three giant disco balls set the tone for some late-night dancing.
Executive chef Chicho Gonzalez, who has worked in Salt Lake City and was born and raised in Los Angeles, created the menu at Premiere. The menu is influenced by Mexican street food, with dishes featuring bold flavors and a nod to his Peruvian heritage.
Some items on the menu include Birria Sliders ($18) with smoked chili braised beef brisket, two 2-oz patties, and mint cabbage slaw, served with lemongrass consumé. The Spiced Beet Bruschetta combines sweet maple ricotta and savory spiced beets, topped with arugula and house balsamic.
