Park City’s Free Living Co.’s goal of making 10,000 homes safer, one toxin at a time

PARK CITY, Utah — In a collaborative effort to improve public health by reducing household toxins, Park City’s own Free Living Co., renowned for vetting and selling clean personal care and household products, has partnered with Optimize the Inside, a leader in home health audit, in making 10,000 homes less toxic.

The initiative is a response to the growing concern over household toxins, which often remain unnoticed but pose serious health risks. Through this collaboration, both companies aim to elevate awareness about the dangers of these toxins and enable individuals to create safer living environments for their families.

Elizabeth Shea, founder of Optimize the Inside, has a personal stake in this cause. She has battled health issues caused by toxin exposure that traditional medical methods failed to identify. Her partnership with Free Living Co. is fueled by a desire to spare others from similar hardships.

Dana Grinnell, the founder of Free Living Co. and a Park City local, brings her extensive experience—two decades, in fact—in the healthcare sector to the forefront of this initiative. Grinnell stated,

“Too many families are unknowingly exposed to harmful toxins in their homes, which can have serious health consequences. Our partnership with Optimize the Inside allows us to leverage our expertise in clean products to make a tangible difference in the lives of 10,000 families, by extending beyond product offerings and into the very homes where these products are used.”

Both founders are driven by reducing exposure to harmful substances and promoting healthier homes. “We believe that everyone deserves to live in a home that supports their health and well-being. By partnering with Free Living Co, we can empower individuals to take control of their home environments and protect themselves and their loved ones from the hidden dangers of household toxins,” Shea said.

The collaboration aims to inspire a nationwide movement towards safeguarding homes and families against the risks of household toxins. Together, Shea and Grinnell hope to provide innovative solutions, expert advice, and a shared dedication to wellness.
