Bubble at Park City MARC remains out of commission due to storm damage

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Municipal Athletic & Recreation Center (PC MARC) announced yesterday that the tennis bubble will remain out of commission due to the severe weather on March 1.

The bubble was damaged significantly during the windstorm, and it is not yet clear when tennis and pickleball lovers will be able to return to the facility. As a result of the uncertainty, all existing court reservations at the bubble through March 27 have been canceled. The recreation department is committed to providing another status update on March 27.

The team has also been exploring ways to maximize current court usage:

  • Park City High School tennis team relocated all but one tennis match
  • Tennis coaching staff is working to decrease the number of one-on-one tennis lessons by merging lessons together
  • Racquet sports department is monitoring tennis clinic registration numbers and adjusting clinic sizes accordingly
    • If a clinic has fewer than six participants, it will be reduced to one court
    • If any clinic has fewer than three participants, the clinic will be canceled
    • If you are booked for a clinic, you may be moved to a different court number

The MARC invites interested parties to follow along on their social channels for continued updates: Facebook, X, Instagram
