2024/25 Ikon Passes on sale March 14

An adult Ikon Pass will cost $1,249 for the 24/24 season, a $90 increase from the previous year

PARK CITY, Utah — Alterra Mountain Company announced yesterday that Ikon Passes will go on sale for the 24/25 season on Thursday, March 14, and offer a total of 58 destinations worldwide.

For the 24/25 season an adult Ikon Pass will go for $1,249, a $90 increase from the 23/24 season. Those renewing a pass can do so for $1,149. Young adults can snag a pass for $929, and college students, military personnel and nurses can get a discounted pass at $899.

This pass includes unlimited access with no blackout dates to 17 participating resorts, including Solitude Mountain Resort, and up to seven days each at 40 destinations, including Deer Valley Resort, Brighton, Snowbird, Alta Ski Area and Snowbasin.

The 24/25 Ikon Base Pass is $869 for adults, and offers unlimited access with limited blackout dates to 14 destinations, including Solitude Mountain Resort, and up to five days each at 36 destinations, including Snowbird and Brighton. For an extra $250, the Ikon Base Plus Pass allows holders up to five days each at an additional seven resorts, including Deer Valley, Alta Ski Area and Snowbasin.

The Ikon Session Pass offers two to four-day options from $259-$449. Pass holders can ski two, three or four days at one mountain or split their time  among 42 destinations, including Brighton and Solitude Mountain Resort.

For the 23/24 season, the Ikon Pass started at $1,159 for unlimited seven-day and seven-day combined access at 54 destinations. The Ikon Base Pass started at $829 for unlimited five-day and five-day combined access at 48 destinations, and the Ikon Session started at $259 for two to four-day access to 39 destinations.

New this year:

  • More friends and family discounts – Ikon Pass holders will receive a total of 12 discounts for the 24/25 season.
  • Free summer bike park day – All passes except the Ikon Session Pass will come with one free bike park lift ticket to use once at select destinations, including Aspen Snowmass, Revelstoke, Panorama, Sun Peaks, Sun Valley, Snowbasin, Steamboat, Stratton, The Highlands, Loon Mountain, Solitude, Brighton, Snowshoe, Mammoth Mountain, Schweitzer or Kitzbühel.
  • $200 CAD/day on heli-skiing adventure – Pass holders who go day heli-skiing at CMH Purcell any time during the 24/25 winter season or stay at any other CMH destination during December 2024 or April 2025 get $200 CAD each day of their trip.
  • Community give back – A portion of 24/25 pass sales go to support mental health initiatives in Ikon Pass destination communities.
  • Expanded access at Crystal Mountain in Washington – Pass holders will have unlimited access  to Crystal Mountain for the 24/25 season.
