Anthony and Horishima triumph in Dual Moguls World Cup at Deer Valley

PARK CITY, Utah — The final day of the Intermountain Healthcare Freestyle International at Deer Valley witnessed some spectacular competition in the season’s sixth Dual Moguls World Cup competition. Jakara Anthony (AUS) and Ikuma Horishima (JPN) topped the event, showcasing their exceptional skills on the legendary Champion Run.

Anthony, overcoming a rare mishap in Thursday’s event, clinched her 11th win of the 2023/24 season against Jaelin Kauf (USA), tying the record for most freestyle wins in a single season.

The men’s competition saw Ikuma Horishima beating out Benjamin Cavet (FRA) in the dual finals, marking his fourth win of the season. This win narrows the standings gap with Mikael Kingsbury (CAN) current points leader.

USA’s Jaelin Kauf secured second place, adding a silver to her season’s tally, while Olivia Giaccio completed the podium with a third-place finish against Hinako Tomitaka (JPN).

Dylan Marcellini (USA) celebrated his first World Cup podium by securing third place.
