Warm up to winter with LOCOCO’s #WinterStoke events around Park City

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City community is invited to embrace the season’s spirit with LOCOCO Cocoa Company’s #WinterStoke Sample Days. Renowned for earning a top 5 ranking in a taste test conducted by Food & Wine Magazine earlier this year, LOCOCO is set to host a series of events designed to celebrate winter in its unique and local essence.

“Right now, it’s that time of year that we call mud season, which means it’s freezing without a lot of opportunity to have fun outside yet. [But it’s] the perfect time to get hyped for snow — and visit some of the best places to dine and shop locally,” LOCOCO founder Anna Bloom said,

More than a mere cocoa tasting, the #WinterStoke Sample Days are a collaborative effort with seven local galleries, cafes, and shops. The intention is to create an immersive experience that goes beyond the warmth of cocoa, encouraging participants to explore local businesses, partake in culinary delights, and appreciate the artistry of the community.

These events will align with seasonal activities hosted by the partnering locations. Notably, on Dec. 8, Gallery MAR will unveil Alpine Attitude, a winter-themed painting exhibition featuring the works of local artists Fred Calleri and Aaron Memmott.

Anna Bloom shares her inspiration for these events, stating, “Part of the inspiration for this is to get excited about winter myself — summer and fall were so short this year. As I’ve worked on pulling this together, I can feel myself getting ready for it, bit by bit.”

The inaugural #WinterStoke Sample Day commences this Saturday, Nov. 11, at 8:30 a.m. with Harvest Park City, providing a taste of the season until the cocoa runs out.

– Saturday, Dec. 2, 9:30 a.m: Hugo Coffee, Park City
– Friday, Dec. 8 ,6 p.m: Gallery MAR, Park City (In conjunction with the opening of the “Alpine Attitude” exhibition)
– Saturday, Dec. 16, 11 am: Renourish Kombucha Tap Room, Salt Lake City
– Saturday, Dec. 23, 9:30 am: Corner Store Market, Park City
– Saturday, Dec. 30 (time TBD): Park City Mercantile
