SNAPPED: Park City Mountain celebrates 7th annual tree lighting

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Mountain kicked off the holiday season on Friday with its seventh annual tree lighting celebration.

The event featured fireworks, live music, holiday food and drinks and photos with Santa.

Deirdra Walsh, Park City Mountain vice president and COO, spoke to guests at the celebration.

“I am so excited to be here tonight and to celebrate the start of the holiday season at Park City Mountain with our tree lighting,” Walsh said. “This has always been one of my favorite events as it signals the start of the holiday season here in Park City and brings our entire community together for a fun and welcoming evening.”

The resort opened for its 60th season on Nov. 17.
