Weekly weather report: Weeklong highs in the 70s, potential storms this weekend

PARK CITY, Utah — Weather this week in Park City is forecasted to be mostly sunny with highs in the 70s and cooler temperatures and a chance of rain and thunderstorms this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday, Sept. 25

Monday is forecasted to be sunny with a high near 74 and southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. Monday evening will be mostly clear with a low of approximately 46 and southwest wind of 6 to 9 mph becoming east southeast.

Tuesday, Sept. 26

Tuesday is forecasted to be sunny with a high near 73 and southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Tuesday evening will be clear with a low of approximately 46 and southwest wind of six to nine mph becoming east southeast.

Wednesday, Sept. 27

Wednesday is forecasted to be sunny with a high near 74 and south southeast wind 5 to 13 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Wednesday evening will be mostly clear with a low of approximately 43.

Thursday, Sept. 28

Thursday is forecasted to be sunny with a high near 70. Thursday evening will be mostly clear with a low around 43.

Friday, Sept. 29

Friday is forecasted to be mostly sunny with a high near 68. Friday evening will be partly cloudy with a low around 44 and a chance of showers after 1 a.m.

Saturday, Sept. 30 

Saturday is forecasted to be partly sunny with a high near 61 with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Saturday evening will be mostly cloudy with a low around 39 and a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday, Oct. 1

Sunday is forecasted to be partly sunny with chance of showers and thunderstorms, and a high near 53.
