‘TREW to You Tour’ stopping in Utah, September 21

UTAH — During the winter of 2022/2023, ten teams were handpicked to create captivating films that showcase their communities, local stomping grounds, and what it truly means to “Stay TREW.” The TREW to You Tour first annual tour will be stopping in Salt Lake City on September 21 at EVO Salt Lake City.

One of the teams taking part in the Salt Lake City screening is “Hijos de la Primavera”. This crew consists of a mix of talented filmmakers and snowboarders, individuals who have spent years exploring the backcountry and honing their skills in the edit bay. With this project, they seek to conquer extensive, multi-hit lines that challenge their mastery of the terrain they ride on, blurring the line between careful planning and electrifying spontaneity.

With only six weeks for filming and four weeks for editing, these teams have poured their heart and soul into producing three to five-minute masterpieces. Now, their individual edits have been combined into a mesmerizing feature film that will embark on a tour this fall, with screenings in each team’s hometown. The film will then be digitally released, allowing anyone, anywhere, to be a part of the extraordinary “TREW To You” experience.

In addition to witnessing the film, attendees of the tour stops will be treated to TREW’s partners like Hestra, Evo, Rux, and Super Pacific, who will be offering exclusive swag. This event is a chance to ignite the pre-season stoke and excitement.

Its inclusivity sets the TREW To You film apart from others in the ski and snowboarding sphere. Unlike movies featuring industry elites, this film opens its arms to everyone. The audience will choose the winners, providing a unique opportunity to grow the TREW community with those who genuinely understand it.
