SNAPPED: Park City Song Summit 2023 brings mix of music and wellness to the Wasatch Back

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Song Summit brought good vibes and music to town this weekend.

The annual event took place September 7-9, and included wellness activities, workshops, intimate conversations and musical performances from big names such as Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros featuring The Wolfpack, Celisse, Chuck D and more.

According to Gina Schatz, wellness coordinator for the event, Song Summit Ben Anderson recognized that the life of a musician is both unique and at times, hard. This event is intended to offer wellness and mental health support for the artists, and many of the talks and forums touched on these themes.

“Take advantage of every artistic opportunity that comes your way, and you will win,” McDaniels said.
