Second-annual Bark City Festival canceled due to forecasted weather

PARK CITY, Utah — The second-annual Bark City Festival has been canceled this year due to weather.

The festival, put on by Basin Recreation and the Park City Area Home Builders Association, was supposed to take place on Sunday, Oct. 1, at Trailside Park.

Organizers had planned a “Pawrade” of Dog Homes, a 5k Dirty Dog Run, dog competitions, vendor booths, music, food and drinks, and lots of playtime for both dogs and their owners alike.

According a forecast from the National Weather Service, showers are likely in Park City on Sunday, and a thunderstorm is possible.
