PARK CITY, Utah — Staff members at the Park City Municipal Athletic Recreation Center (MARC) who usually spend their days poolside keeping swimmers safe, got to show off their life-saving rescue skills at a unique yet challenging competition, the Lifeguard Games.
The team took fourth place out of 18 teams at the annual event. PC has not been represented for many years, and they came away just five points from first.
The Utah Recreation & Parks Association’s Aquatics Lifeguard games, was held in August at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center pools.
