Summit County Sheriff dept. celebrates award-winning medical dispatcher

PARK CITY, Utah — On Thursday, May 25, Joselyn Arellano-Hernandez received the Emergency Medical Dispatcher of the Year award from the State of Utah Bureau of EMS.
Arellano-Hernandez was nominated by Park City Fire Battalion Chief Ashley Lewis for her outstanding performance on the drowning incident that occurred at Smith and Morehouse last August.
“Joselyn is one of our lead dispatchers who has been with us for two years and has shown immense passion, professionalism, and leadership. Joselyn is a true asset to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. Please join us in congratulating Joselyn on this well-deserved award!”
