Park City Mountain to begin summer operations on June 16

PARK CITY, Utah — Following a historic winter, Park City Mountain has announced that its summer operations will commence next month.

The Park City Mountain Village Adventure Park will open on June 16, Canyons Village summer operations will begin June 30, and Canyons Golf will open on June 2.

“Park City Mountain offers a vibrant summer backdrop and we’re excited to offer a variety of activities that let our guests and community enjoy the outdoors,” said Deirdra Walsh, vice president and COO of Park City Mountain. “We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Park City Mountain for our fun and adventurous summer events and activities.”

Activities at the Adventure Park include the Alpine slide, mountain coaster, mini golf, gem panning and more. The park will operate 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through September 4, then from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from September 2 to October 1.

The Crescent Express bike haul is expected to open on June 30, trail conditions permitting. Park City Mountain partners with the Mountain Trails Foundation for summer trail stewardship and access.

“We know our community is excited to get back out on the trails and we are closely monitoring trail conditions following this season’s historic snowfall,” said Lora Smith, executive director of Mountain Trails Foundation. “We plan to open trails as soon as they are safely rideable for the season.”

Canyons Village will be open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until September 4. Activities include scenic gondola rides, mountain biking, disc golf, hiking and more.
