Intentionally blocked culvert on Old Ranch Road causes backyard flooding

PARK CITY, Utah — Late last night an unknown individual(s) intentionally placed sandbags to block a drainage that runs parallel to Old Ranch Road. The blocked drainage subsequently diverted water into backyards of homes across the street located on Willowcreek Dr. One of the nearby home’s back yard did flood as a result of this incident.

According to the Summit County Sheriffs office this does not appear to be malicious but possibly an attempt prevent their own property from flooding.
