PARK CITY, Utah — For all ages of skiers and snowboarders, coming to a resort is like going on an adventure. As an instructor, that was an idea that helped change the guest from thinking about the cold or the difficulty of learning a new skill. While every resort has its own unique flare, Park City Mountain offers fun surprises along the trails.
“High Meadow Park was designed specifically for our beginner skiers and riders. It provides an entertaining and adventurous area where our guests can spend an entire day exploring, playing and developing their skills. From the first easy descent to the next degree of pitch, the custom-designed and animated adventure trails of High Meadow Park are filled with surprise and fun for guests of all ages,” said Mary Flinn Ware, Park City Ski and Snowboard School General Manager.
Like many transplants to Utah, Kevin started his journey to Park City as a ski instructor in 2014 and fell in love with the mountains enough to stay. A skier since the age of 2 and a half, he still gets excited about carving turns down the slopes and hopping into the powder on snow days.
Kevin's passion for storytelling and photography led him to a second bachelor's degree focused on communications and fine art photography from the University of Utah. Paired with his first undergrad in ecology from Oklahoma State University, Kevin particularly enjoys writing environmental and nature stories. In his spare time, you can usually find him in his jeep looking for wildlife and landscapes to photograph.
