Commuters can win up to $2,500 in prizes through Ride On Park City Winter Commuter Challenge

PARK CITY, Utah — Commuters will be eligible to win up to $2,500 in cash prizes this winter simply for not commuting alone.
The Ride On Park City Winter Commuter Challenge will run from December 1-March 31 and offer incentives for not driving alone in the Park City area and using the Ride On Park City app to log transit, biking, walking, vanpool, or carpool trips.
Ride On Park City is an online platform that matches individuals to others nearby who share similar commute patterns and enables them to carpool, walk, or take transit together.

“Looking for ways to improve your commute? Find neighbors who live and work near you on Park City’s carpool matching platform, Ride On Park City,” said a press release from Park City. “You can also join our incentive programs which reward you for choosing sustainable transportation options. Ride On also provides metrics of money saved and emissions reduced. So far, the Park City community has reduced 99.9 tons of Co2 from our air!”

The challenge is sponsored by Park City Mountain, Deer Valley Resort, Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, Summit County, Utah, and the Canyons Village Management Association.
