Fill the vacancy on the Park City Public Art Advisory Board

PARK CITY, Utah — Mayor Nann Worel and City Council seek one community member to fulfill a vacant position on the Park City Public Art Advisory Board (PAAB). The vacant term expires in June 2025.

PAAB makes recommendations to City Council regarding Public Art planning and expenditures and maintains the City’s public art inventory. The eight-member board focuses on project identification, requests for proposals, selection processes (including reviewing artists’ proposals for each project), and making recommendations to City Council. Board members are not compensated and serve as representatives of the citizens of Park City.

Those interested in applying must be full-time residents within city boundaries. Board members serve three-year terms. The board meets on the second Monday of every month at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall at the Marsac Building.

Application deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1. An interview schedule will be sent out after the application deadline. Appointments are anticipated to be scheduled at the City Council meeting in November or December. The selected candidates will begin their term as soon as possible.
