Audubon Community Choice Photo winner goes to Park City youth

PARK CITY, Utah — Ethan Romer of Park City was announced as the youth winner of the Audobon 2022 Community Choice Nature Photo Contest on Thursday. Romer’s image entitled “Namibian Shadows” had been entered under the Landscapes/Waterscapes category. His image is in competition with other youths ranging from 8 to 18 years old.

The contest is run by the Audobon Community Nature Center (ACNC) located in Jamestown, New York. All of the funds raised from the contest’s photo entry fee of $15 benefit the many education programs that the center puts on throughout the year.

Romer’s image received the most votes online during the voting process. For winning the community choice award, he will be awarded $200 and his image will be printed and displayed on exhibit at the Center.

Each image had a chance to win under the community choice category and the judge’s category. The contest for the judge’s choice is currently ongoing with winners and finalists not being named at this time.
