PCMR announces paid parking reservations and fees for winter season

PARK CITY, Utah — Vail Resorts has announced the details of its new paid parking reservation system for the 2022/23 season at Park City Mountain.

Online parking reservations will be required every day from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. beginning December 12 through April 2, with a fee of $25 per vehicle per day. The new policy will be in effect for Main, First Time, and Silver king parking lots. Reservations of vehicles with four or more occupants will be free, and all spaces will become free with no required reservation after 1 p.m.

With the winter season quickly approaching, and PCMR’s parking lots filling faster than ever last season, the announcement over the 2022/23 paid parking was expected.

To help mitigate the rise in parking demands, and increased traffic, Park City Mountain is installing a new traffic circulation plan for the Mountain Village base area, prioritizing bus and transit access in partnership with Park City. High Valley Transit Park-n-Ride locations and the Canyon Village base area will remain free of charge as part of the new plan. Park City High School will also be used for free parking on weekends and holidays.
