Kids get Back 2 School ready thanks to CCPC

PARK CITY, Utah. — The first day of school is less than a month away, and families will have the opportunity to shop at the Outlet Stores courtesy of the Christian Center of Park City (CCPC).

The Back 2 School Basics annual event will be held this year on August 10 – 12. However, donations and volunteers are being welcomed in July.

The event meets the needs of Summit and Wasatch county families by relieving some of the financial burdens of back-to-school shopping.

Each participating child receives a $100 gift card to spend at Outlets Park City, a new backpack, and school supplies of their choosing. This program is supported by volunteers who give their time, donors who sponsor children, and grant funding.

In 2021, Back 2 School Basics served 1,400 kids with roughly 3,530 tops and hoodies, 2,400 pairs of pants and shorts, 610 pairs of shoes, and tons of backpacks and school supplies.

Some of the creative ways the Christian Center of Park City accepts donations include:

  • Real Estate
  • Vehicles
  • Digital Currency
  • Stocks

Contact Jamie at JaimeC@ccofpc.org to donate or volunteer for the 2022 Back 2 School Basics event.
