Free Park City panel to focus on teen identity, stress, and belonging

PARK CITY, Utah — Parents of Park City teens can hear from local school and mental health professionals at a free panel discussion next month on teen identity, stress, and belonging.

“Teens: Identity, Stress and Belonging” is scheduled for 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on May 6 at the CCPC Gathering Space.
The discussion is designed for parents who want to better understand what teens are facing and how to support their mental health. Panelists will take audience questions and share insight into teen mental health and identity.
The event is presented with community partners Summit Support and the Park City School District. Jed Thomas, a district psychologist, will moderate.
Panelists include Sam Walsh, school social worker at Park City High School; Kristen Hall, school counselor at Park City High School; Niko Jensen, school counselor at Ecker Hill Middle School; Kami Black, an adolescent therapist with ROOTs Residential Treatment; and Esmeralda Fonseca, a bilingual associate clinical mental health counselor and therapist with CCPC.
