Recycle Utah to hold Green Business Info Sessions next Tuesday

PARK CITY, Utah. — Recycle Utah will be holding Info Sessions for Summit County businesses next Tuesday to provide information about their reconditioned Green Business Program.

In partnership with the City Government of Park City, Visit Park City, and Summit County, Utah, Recycle Utah has updated their business program with new levels, checklists, requirements, and increased resources for businesses.

The Green Business program now has three levels (green circle, blue square, and black diamond) which require increasingly more effort and impact. Businesses must complete actions in five categories that cover different aspects of sustainability including, energy, water, materials, transportation, and thriving community and equity.

For those interested in attending, info sessions will be held on June 14 via Zoom at 12 p.m. or In-person at 2 p.m. at the Park City Library’s 3rd Floor Community room. Individuals can visit Recycle Utah’s business workshop event page for more information.
