Park City Police and Summit County detectives go above and beyond for neglected children

PARK CITY, Utah. — Earlier in June several Park City Police Officers went above and beyond the call of duty in order to secure the safety and well being of several children in the community who were being neglected.

On June 10, Park City Police officers Williams, Proctor, Comer, Johnson, Parker and Snelson responded to an incident where several children were in distress. After assessing the situation, the officers then purchased food for the children and contacted the Summit County Attorney.

The children were then transported to the Children’s Justice Center of Summit County where Detectives Christina Sally and Andrew Leatham and Director Ted Walker assisted with the investigation and provided additional basic needs for the children.

After helping the children and providing a lasting positive impact, the case still remains under investigation.
