Wasatch Back Economic Summit will discuss traffic and housing

PARK CITY, Utah. – The Wasatch Back Economic Summit, hosted by the Park City Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce and The Heber Valley Utah, will discuss key economic issues facing Summit and Wasatch Counties and be held at the Zermatt Resort on May 17 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Summit will feature a State of the Wasatch Back, informational presentations, breakout sessions, updates from elected officials and industry leaders, and networking opportunities. Keynote Speaker Mallory Bateman, M.Sc., is the Director of Demographic Research and State Data Center Coordinator, Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, at the University of Utah. Bateman will discuss the “State of the Wasatch Back.” Breakout discussions will cover multiple topics related to employee and business challenges and community infrastructure challenges, like “A Regional Approach to Housing” and “Legislative Update.”

These are not issues that can be addressed in a bubble.
