PARK CITY, Utah — Basin Recreation has a brand new program, a Dunk Ball League. Dunk Ball is a 4v4 basketball league where the hoops are lowered to 8.5 feet and dunking is strongly encouraged.

“It’s popular for boys in grades 9 – 12 who are looking to hone their basketball skills and engage in some healthy competition,” it says on the Basin Rec website.

All players will play in one division and coach their own team. Teams will be created by staff but they take player requests into strong consideration.

The games will be officiated by Basin staff.

When: April 18-May 25
Days: Mondays and Wednesdays
Times: Between 7 pm and 10 pm
Location: The Fieldhouse gymnasium
