Prescribed burn in Summit Park on Monday

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah. — There is a prescribed burn occurring in Summit Park open space (Short Stack Trailhead, Innsbruck Strasse) on Monday, November 1, according to Summit County.

The burn is part of a more extensive wildfire mitigation series planned through December 31 of this year. The objective of the project is to improve forest health and complete fuels reduction of pre-cut woody materials.
