Rowmark FIS student-athletes attend ski camp in Italy

MERANO, Italy — Student-athletes from the Rowmark Ski Academy are spending the week in Italy skiing in a camp for their International Ski Federation (FIS) student-athletes.

Some of their days are conducive to alpine ski race training, however, some have encountered inclement weather. The latter bring the students off the hill and into study spaces to keep up with their schoolwork. After that, it’s off to the local pizzeria for some fuel and some lessons in international culture.

Many Park City families send their children to attend school at Rowland Hall/Rowmark in Salt Lake City both for the high-performance opportunities in athleticism that the curriculum offers as well as the high standards in academics.

Park City residents are also employed as teachers, pediatric occupational therapists, IT specialists, and coaches in high numbers at Roland Hall/Rowmark, not to mention the multiple Board members who have been from Park City.

The Rowmark Ski Team trains and competes in the winters on the slopes at Park City Mountain and at The Utah Olympic Park.

The independent private school has enrollment for students from preK through 12th grade.
