Park City mnt. bike team teen takes state

ST. GEORGE, Utah. — Freshman Lucas Fassio became the State Champion in D1 Freshman B’s on Friday. The St. George News called it the largest High School sporting event in America.

The Park City High School Mnt. Bike Team posted on social media, “His season has been outstanding and we are so happy to see him take that top step. Congratulations Lucas you fought hard and brought home gold!”

Fassio also competes in the sport of cross country skiing for Park City Ski and Snowboard.

The Park City High School Mnt. Bike Team includes student-athletes from other schools as well like the Winter Sports School (WSS) and the WSS has members of its student body who compete in summer sports too.
