PCHS Football wanted their win of 46 – 6

MURRAY, Utah. — Building up their season record to 2 – 3, the Park City High School (PCHS) Miners varsity football team beat Murray High in Salt Lake City 46 – 6 on Friday night.

In the first quarter, PC ran in a TD starting the game off at 6 – 0 after the extra point a lightning hold was placed on the field. When the teams took the field again, the Miners banged out a touchdown and a two-point rush all, four scoring plays occurring in the ticking away seconds of the first which ended at 15 – 0.

By halftime, Park City was still the only team putting up points on the board finishing it out with a 36 – 0.

In the third quarter, a completed touchdown brought PC to 43 – 0 where it stayed until the fourth.

At the two-minute warning, Murray’s Spartans had the ball running it in to the end zone giving them their first and their final points of the night.

PCHS plays the Highland High Rams at home on Friday, September 17.
