Flood in Snow Creek Plaza

PARK CITY, Utah — At 1 pm on Tuesday, September 7, a major water line on Boot Hill was compromised while crews were working to replace the pipe, according to Clayton Scrivner, communications manager at Park City Municipal.

The leak caused flooding in the Snow Creek Plaza parking lot. Crews immediately worked to divert water to the city’s sewer system to alleviate any further threats to businesses.

“The situation is ongoing, but under control and clean up work has begun,” Scrivner said.

He emphasized that there is no threat to the City’s water supply or fire response capacity.

Snow Creek Plaza is open but use caution when in the area.
