PARK CITY, Utah — The Federal Reserve or the “Fed” is conducting an annual meeting in Washington D.C. this week, what does that have to do with Park City?
Marriner S. Eccles, from Utah, served as the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve from 1934 – 1948. The Federal Reserve, the Central Bank of the United States’ mission is to provide the nation with a safe, flexible, and stable monetary and financial system. The Federal Reserve Building in Washington D.C. is called the Marriner S. Eccles Building.
