SNOW in Summit County on August 19

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — With a summer full of record breaking heat a recent cold front has brought rain and cold temps to the region. As of 8:00am NOAA is reporting 46 degrees in Park City a far cry from the 90’s earlier this week. As every Parkite knows with cold temps comes snow and this morning a dusting of snow was dropped on Bald Mountain Pass along the Mirror Lake Highway. This is the highest paved road in Utah with an elevation of 10,715 feet. A friendly reminder that “Winter is coming”.
