Deer Valley Resort increases minimum wage to $15 an hour
DEER VALLEY RESORT, Utah. — Starting July 26, Deer Valley Resort will increase starting wages to $15 an hour for hourly, non-tipped positions.
“The Park City area continues to see a competitive job market and high cost of living,” said Deer Valley President Jeremy Levitt. “In order to retain our talented team and recruit future staff members, it is essential we increase our starting wages and continue offering industry-leading benefits.”
Wage adjustments will be made for eligible staff members to maintain a differential in pay.
The move follows Vail Resorts’ decision in June to increase their minimum starting wage to $15 an hour for employees in Utah.
