SNAPPED: PCHS seniors hiking up and moving on

Two Park City High School seniors are among the students hiking up ‘PC Hill’ this week.

PC Hill.
PC Hill, in Park City.

The large white letters “PC” sit permanently at the summit, placed there decades ago and dedicated to the annual high school senior class. Similar lettered hills are visible from afar in many small towns dotted throughout the West.

The seniors hike up in class groups with their teacher to have the opportunity to reflect on their high school experience and simultaneously get excited about the future.

Sam Kroon and Jaden Mitchell say, “It’s a cool tradition, and it’s a fun, easy hike near the school with a nice view at the top.”

They’re both looking forward to the upcoming summer, which will include but not be limited to “skateboarding, hanging out with friends,” and for one of them, “moving to Salt Lake City.”

Congratulations to all graduates!
