Eccles Center hosts Parsons Dance on July 3rd, postpones Ballet

PARK CITY, Utah. — The Park City Institute (PCI) has swapped out the July 3rd performance of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, STARDUST: From Bach to Bowie, for a Parsons Dance ensemble. The Institute is hoping to reschedule the ballet when that is possible.

For the Parsons Dance performance, PCI will honor all tickets purchased for Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Alternatively, patrons may call the box office to place their tickets on hold for a rescheduled performance by Complexions, anticipated for Spring 2022.

The Fourth of July weekend’s event will consist of a 7 pm performance with the explosive athleticism of Parsons Dance.

Enjoy a performance of works selected from the vast and varied repertory of more than 75 works created by David Parsons. The company includes Utah native, Zoey Anderson, who has been a member of Parsons Dance since 2015. Anderson has also performed in the Broadway premiere gala of On the Town, on numerous Dancing with the Stars webisodes, and Macy’s Passport Tour with P. Diddy. She was nominated for the Outstanding Performer Bessie Award for her sustained achievement in Parsons Dance in 2018, and is the recipient of the 2019 Clive Barnes Dance Artist Award.

Tickets start at $39, and Super Fan packages are available in the first 9 rows. Discounts are available for all Summit County students in grades K-12, as well as teachers, veterans, and first responders.
