SNAPPED: American kestrel precariously perched in Snyderville Basin
TownLift reader Kevin Parker captured this shot of an American Kestrel perched high in a tree top out in Snyderville Basin earlier this week. In Utah, the American kestrel is a common species found statewide at all times of the year. They can usually be found in open habitats, such as prairies, deserts, wooded streams, and farmlands. The American Kestrel is also the smallest and most colorful falcon in North America.
Great shot Kevin, thanks for sharing!
