PARK CITY, Utah. — Not everyone has hundreds of dollars to spend on a massage or two steak dinners. Fortunately, Park City businesses understand that, and many have teed up their seasonal locals’ specials. A few have closed for the month to give themselves a break, but that’s another story.
For those who keep the doors or takeout window open, the annual spring (and fall!) shoulder-season tradition gets more customers through the doors of local businesses, and gets Parkites big discounts on small splurges. Everybody wins!
But you do need to live here – usually. Some establishments ask for driver’s licenses as proof of residency; others may cut you a deal based on a coupon you bring in, a conversation, or if they just think you’re pretty cool.
Some current deals are not advertised, and business owners want to keep it that way, so calling places you like to ask about unadvertised locals’ specials doesn’t hurt.
Below is our list of businesses who want to see you soon. This list is just a start – we’ll add more as some businesses open back up after their post-resort season break. Feel free to comment below or email us at [email protected] with any other specials you know of!
