Calls for service: Police and Sheriff’s logs

PARK CITY, Utah. — Limos, raccoons and a golf shop are included in the calls for service to the Park City Police Department (PCPD) and Summit County Sheriff’s Department (SCSD) logs for the week of April 19th through the 26th.

Monday:

A call was made to PCPD officers that a mountain bike had been abandoned in front of the Park City Library and had been there for 10 days.

Tuesday:

On Bonanza Dr., a car was blocking an entire parking area and the driver was “very confrontational,” according to the PCPD, when asked to move.

PCPD officers monitored the planned Park City School District meeting where no issues occurred, although five people were present representing anti-masking beliefs.

Thursday:

Park Meadows Golf Shop employees confirmed to the officer who conducted a follow-up welfare check that they had indeed misdialed the police department.

A raccoon was in distress in the front yard of a home in Prospector. PCPD was contacted to assist the homeowners regarding the most humane and legal way to address the issue.

Saturday:

A call was made to PCPD officers that a car had been parked in the Park City Library parking lot for the last few months and that it’s running for 4-5 hours each night.

Sunday:

A traffic stop was conducted by a PCPD officer in Old Town on 5th St. & Swede Alley to address passengers who were standing up out of the sunroof of their limousine.
