Heber City burn pile quickly spread to a shed

HEBER CITY, Utah. — Yesterday, Wasatch County Fire Department helped to extinguish a controlled burn that went awry and began to burn a shed. Wasatch Fire responded to 4585 E Center Creek Drive and helped to put out a fire. The owner had a burn permit for a controlled burn, however the winds kicked up and flames from the burn pile spread to a woodpile, nearby trees, and a shed. Heber, Midway, and Jordanelle fire departments responded to the flames.
