PARK CITY, Utah. — Last night the Sundance Film Festival wrapped up its sixth day with an awards ceremony.
“This was not a ‘virtual’ festival, it was a real festival and the power of these artists and their work was what made it so,” Sundance Film Festival Director Tabitha Jackson said in a statement. “It has been a privilege to help this work meet new audiences and enter the culture with such fanfare, especially now, when breaking through the noise is harder than ever.”
These award-winning films are available for screening to pass-holders today through the festival’s online platform. A complete list of award-winning films can be found online.
A few titles that brought home multiple awards include:
CODA – Child of Deaf Adults: U.S. Grand Jury Prize, Audience Award, Directing Award, and U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award for Ensemble Cast in the U.S. Dramatic category
Summer of Soul: Audience Award: U.S. Documentary category, and the U.S. Grand Jury Prize in the documentary category
Hive: Audience Award, Directing Award and the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize in the World Cinema Dramatic category
