Sundance 2021: This Year Looks a Little Different

PARK CITY, Utah. — Despite the pandemic, nothing can stop Sundance from taking place next year. It’ll just be a little different.

Sundance is scheduled to take place from Thursday, January 28th to Wednesday, February 3rd. It’s expected to be a hybrid approach to a festival, where there will be an in-person component and an online event. To participate in Sundance 2021, it’s recommended to Register Here.

In 2020, there were over 15,000 submissions and the Sundance Institute accepted 244 film projects to be showcased. There are more details to come on the logistics of this 2021’s Sundance Film Festival. Here is the official teaser from the Sundance Institute.
