Park City Brewing will host the Oct. 28 event with live music, a silent auction, food and drinks

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City skiers and snowboarders can celebrate the approach of winter while supporting avalanche safety programs at the 2026 Powder Buoy Powder Party later this month.

The Utah Avalanche Center, Powder Buoy, and Park City Brewing will host the 21-and-older event from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Park City Brewing, 1764 Uinta Way.

The evening will include live music, an in-person silent auction, beer, and a build-your-own tacos and tots bar. Tickets are $100 and include admission, food, and three drink tickets; additional drinks are available for purchase.

The Utah Avalanche Center provides avalanche forecasting, education, and public awareness programs for backcountry users statewide. The organization describes its mission as “saving lives through avalanche forecasting, awareness, and education.”

The Powder Party is one of several fundraising events the center holds ahead of and during the winter season.
