PEAK Center grand opening to celebrate new Summit County Library branch

PARK CITY, Utah — The PEAK Center is gearing up for a grand opening celebration on Oct. 3. Formerly the Skull Candy building, the PEAK Center will be a hub for library services, DMV offices, council meetings and county workspace.

One of the event’s highlights will be a community book brigade, where residents will form a human chain to pass books from the library’s former location in the Richins Building to its new branch in the PEAK Center.

The celebration will also feature free food trucks, family-friendly activities, and entertainment, along with updates about the future of Kimball Junction.

Community members are invited to bring their families and take part in the celebration, which will take place at the PEAK Center (6301 Landmark Drive, Park City) on Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
