SNAPPED: Art and nature meet along McLeod Creek Trail

PARK CITY, Utah — McLeod Creek Trail became an open-air gallery Saturday as Art on the Trails returned for an afternoon of live music, dance, visual art and Indigenous cultural performances.

Guided tours led visitors from Copper Moose Farm Stand toward Temple Har Shalom, stopping at site-specific performances and installations along the trail.

This year’s featured artists included Ririe-Woodbury Dance Academy, musician Morgan Snow of Triggers & Slips, Eligio and Coco Garcia, Cultural Fire Events and Arts Council interns.

Presented by the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County in partnership with Basin Recreation and with support from Copper Moose Farm Stand, the annual event brings local and regional artists into Park City’s natural landscape. Tours departed throughout the afternoon on Saturday, Aug. 22.
