The facility closed at 8 a.m. Monday, with no reopening time announced

PARK CITY, Utah — The Basin Recreation Fieldhouse is back open after it closed Monday morning because of a water line break in the Newpark area of Kimball Junction.

Basin Recreation announced the closure shortly after 8 a.m. Monday, July 13, the facility will remain closed until further notice.

Officials did not immediately provide details about the location or extent of the break, whether surrounding businesses were affected, or how long repairs could take.

“The Fieldhouse is closed indefinitely as of 8 a.m. today, Monday, July 13, due to a water line break in the Newpark area,” Basin Recreation said in its announcement.

The Fieldhouse includes an indoor turf field and track, gymnasium, fitness facilities, and an outdoor pool. Basin Recreation said it would share updates as more information becomes available.
