PARK CITY, Utah — Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott brought the team’s offensive playmakers to Park City this month for a private retreat focused on conditioning, chemistry and preparations for a season he says must end with a championship.
Prescott told reporters Friday at the fifth annual gala for his Faith Fight Finish Foundation that every player invited to the Park City gathering attended, according to The Dallas Morning News. The trip included extended workouts, team meetings, and time together away from the field.

The Cowboys’ quarterbacks, receivers, running backs and tight ends trained at the North 40 Playing Fields during the annual retreat. Tight end Jake Ferguson shared video from the gathering on social media, and an Instagram post documenting the trip described it as the team’s “2026 core trip.”
Prescott told reporters that the workouts sometimes lasted up to two hours and were designed to push the group physically before formal training camp begins.
The quarterback also made clear that the team’s expectations extend beyond simply returning to the playoffs. Dallas finished 7-9-1 last season and missed the postseason for the second consecutive year.
“It’s Super Bowl or nothing,” Prescott said, according to The Dallas Morning News. “It’s that or nothing.”
The Park City retreat has become part of Prescott’s annual offseason routine, allowing offensive players to work on timing and communication without coaches before the team’s official practices begin.
This year’s group included several of Dallas’ leading offensive players, including receivers CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and Ferguson. Prescott said the full attendance showed that players understand the expectations entering the season.
The trip also offered the team a high-altitude training environment and a quieter setting for players to spend time together away from the Cowboys’ facilities in Texas.
Dallas will leave for training camp in Oxnard, California, on July 27. The team’s opening news conference is scheduled for July 28, followed by its first practice on July 29 and its first padded practice on Aug. 3, according to the Cowboys’ official training camp schedule.
The Cowboys will hold joint practices with the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints before beginning the preseason on Aug. 15 against the Seattle Seahawks.
For Prescott, the Park City sessions were a chance to establish the tone before the formal work begins.
The Cowboys quarterback told reporters the retreat was both demanding and intentional, giving the players an opportunity to strengthen relationships while preparing for the pressure that will follow them into the season.
Whether that work produces the result Prescott expects will be determined in the months ahead. For now, he said, the team is entering camp with a clear standard.
